Plan your para schedule across the week

A weekly para schedule keeps the parts of your day that repeat every day and the parts that change by weekday in one routine. In this template, arrival, lunch, your break, afternoon support, and dismissal stay the same, and each weekday has its own morning and early afternoon.

It helps a para whose rooms and groups change from Monday to Friday and who wants each day's copy to be right without keeping five separate sheets.

Both columns come from one routine. Changing an every-day row changes it on all five days; changing a weekday row changes only that weekday.

What to enter

Weekday
Every workday, or one weekday only. A weekday duty appears only on that day's copy.
Time
Exact start and end for each block, the same way on every day it applies.
Duty
The block's name: Reading group support, Math lab support, Library support.
Location
The room for that day. Tuesday's math lab can be in Room 110 while Monday's reading is in Room 104.
Adult role
Your job in that block, written for the day it belongs to.

How to use it

  1. Mark which parts of your day happen every day and which belong to one weekday only.
  2. Choose Use this template and change the every-day duties first: arrival, lunch, your break, dismissal.
  3. Open each weekday in the Planner and replace its own duties with yours, Monday through Friday.
  4. Look over the week for empty time. It reads No duty entered, never available, so you can see what is missing.
  5. Use this version, then print the personal week in landscape. A long week continues on a second page with its headers repeated.

What stays the same, and what can change

What stays the same

  • Duties set for every workday appear on all five days, and changing one of them changes it everywhere at once.
  • Weekday duties come back each week on their own day.

What can change

  • One Friday only: record a change with This date only, and the next Friday reads from the routine again.
  • A new weekly pattern from a set date: edit the routine and choose when the new version starts.

Scope and plan limits

Everything in this template works on Free: your personal schedule, one-day changes, and a single printed copy of any layout.

Para Schedule Plus adds a team schedule of up to 25 adults, including you, up to 20 reusable alternative days, and several dates or adults printed in one step.

This page, its example, and the blank version need no account.

Practical questions

What if some days follow a different schedule, such as early release?

Record the difference for the date it applies to on any plan. If the same kind of day keeps coming back, Plus can save it as a reusable alternative day and apply it to the dates that use it.

Can I bring in the week I already keep in a spreadsheet?

If you can paste it as rows or save it as a CSV file. Each row needs a day or date, a start and end time, and a title. You match the columns and review every row before it goes into a draft.

Import rows from a spreadsheet

Can I see the whole week on paper?

Yes. The personal week prints as one landscape overview with the date and copy version at the top, and continues on a second page when a week needs more room.

Use this template

You review every example duty before anything becomes your current copy.

A starter is a schedule structure with fictional sample duties. It does not set staffing requirements, and it does not contain or create a student record.

Sample break times are placeholders. Use the break times your school sets; a starter does not describe anyone's break entitlement.
